After meeting in person with two applicants for the Associate Pastor role, the Search Team decided to pursue one of them. The candidate is meeting with John Cressman as the next step in the process before final approval by Ministry Council. Our Budget & Town Hall Potluck meeting is today Plan to stick around after the service for a potluck lunch followed by our budget meeting. Can you help with set up (putting out the food before the end of the service) or clean up (doing dishes after the meeting)? Pastor Dave will be asking for volunteers this morning.

Mom’s and Tot’s are closing out the season with their annual trip to Storybook Park on Wednesday, June 12. Everyone is welcome to meet up at the park. Let the gate attendant know you’re with the HMC Mom’s & Tot’s group to get the discounted rate of $10 a person.

Plan to Protect Refresher Course. Please come out on Wednesday, June 12 from 7-9 to be updated on our protection system. This is a mandatory training for anyone involved in ministry.

Senior Youth are ending their season with a bowling party! Rides will leave the church at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. Please let Pastor Amos know if you need a ride and grab a permission form outside the main office – otherwise, meet at the Owen Sound Bowling Alley at 7:00 p.m.

The bus will leave at 10:00 a.m. from the church. Nelles will be in the foyer with a sign-up today. Numbers are required to save your seat.

We are hosting a screening of Over 18, on Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. Over 18 is a documentary about pornography and its addictive effects on children and youth. Our hope in hosting this screening is to open up the conversation around pornography addiction in our community and families. We also want to equip people with tools and resources to both protect their kids from harmful sexual content online as well as help those struggling with pornography addiction themselves.

As part of a fundraiser for the Salvation Army’s Projects in Mozambique, Lawson’s will be open from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at The Salvation Army 581 12th Street. Light refreshments will also be available for a free will donation.
