Young at Heart will celebrate their final gathering of the season on Thursday, June 6 with a trip to Ethnos Jungle Camp in Durham and lunch at Pebbles restaurant in Varney. The bus will leave at 10:00 a.m. from the church. Nelles will be in the foyer with a sign-up today. Numbers are required to save your seat.

We have a Budget & Town Hall Potluck meeting coming in June. Stay tuned for more details next week.

Pastor Amos has received government funding for two summer student positions! The job profile will be released at midnight on May 22, at which point, applications will be accepted. If you’re between the ages of 15 and 30, this could be the thing for you! Watch Facebook for updates.

The Young Married Couples group would like to thank all those who came out on Friday, May 10 for the Over 18 documentary screening. They appreciate the support from those who came.

Our Condolences to Mike Krotz on the passing of his father, Douglas, on Tuesday, May 14. Please pray for the family as they grieve.

Our Condolences to Klaas and Marie Inthof on the loss of their grandson, Stephen, early last week. Please remember the family in your prayers during this difficult time.

We are hiring a new part-time pastor. Please be praying for the team responsible for going through applications. Pray for wisdom and discernment as they listen to God’s direction.

Some changes are being made to increase our security. We are no longer comfortable leaving the main doors unlocked if less than two staff members are in the building. If you require immediate assistance, the care line is always open (519-379-1752) or you can call the office at 519-364-1823. Either Marie (ex21) or Alanna (ex32) are usually in the building until 4:00.

Please join with us every Monday to pray. Set your alarms to 5:14 a.m. or p.m. each Monday and let’s come together to pray for our church, our vision, and our leadership.

Join the HMC Bible Book Club! Find motivation to do daily devotions, as well as opportunity to contribute to discussions about what you’re currently reading, and what has challenged you. Please consider joining! Go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/HMCBBC/ to join.

We are making small changes to help HMC be a little bit greener. We have purchased new dishes in an effort to reduce our constant use of paper and styrofoam. Join the team and help make this an easy transition! We need volunteers to help with the dishes during our Building Connection Sundays and other church family food events. Please consider signing up to help! See the podium in the foyer and let us know what month you’re available. Events occur approximately once a month.

Your help is needed TODAY! Please consider popping down the kitchen to lend a hand after our Building Connections event following the service.
