WORDS OF THANKS
Thank you for investing in our Summer Slam VBS ministry! We had a wonderful, committed group of leaders who made the week run smoothly. Thank you to everyone involved: those who helped with snack, games, groups, crafts, music – and to everyone who donated food or kept the team and children in their prayers throughout the week. Great things happened, and that was only made possible through the grace of God and the work of His people.
Continue to express your thanks and praise for God’s presence, provisions, and blessing as we journey through life.
Please be praying for one another during the week, inviting God to come and shape/prepare our hearts for His glory.
Please pray for those with health concerns—Bob Crawford, June Lamont, Rick Pake, Jim Camm, Nat Camm, and Rob Davidson.
Our Condolences to Bill and Carolyn Pearson on the passing of Bill’s brother, Sandy. Please remember the family in your prayers as they grieve.
Please be praying for Pastor Lyndsay who will be out of the office from August 28-September 5, enjoying some much deserved time away. Pray that she returns rested and refreshed.
Please pray for our Summer Slam participants and their families as they love their neighbours and love like Jesus.
Please continue to remember the Pastoral Search Team in your prayers. Pray for wisdom and discernment as they make important decisions regarding the future of HMC.
There is a booklet of prayer requests specific to the needs of HMC available in the foyer, or by speaking with Karen Schmalz or Brian Austin. Alternatively, if you’d like to receive daily prayer reminders delivered to your email, you can sign up at eepurl.com/cM9ZVj
September Daily Bread booklets are available today in the foyer. Grabs yours at the Reception Desk.
