Daily Prayer Request – Friday, July 14, 2017

Pray for Ministry Council. As leaders of the church, pray for them without ceasing, asking that they may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so they are equipped to make Godly decisions for HMC. Pray that they be above reproach, kept from temptation, complacency, idols, and worldliness.

Daily Prayer Request – Thursday, July 13, 2017

Pray for our Pastors, that they be Godly leaders. Ask for protection from the evil one for each of them and their families. Pray for their physical well-being and that their financial needs would be met. Pray that our pastors would hold onto their joy in spite of everything they have to deal with in ministry. Pray that they will have the wisdom for the various situations they face. Pray that our pastors will find the time and space to stay refreshed, restored, recharge, rested, renewed, and rejuvenated.

Lord, Teach Us To Pray – Sermon Video

Our Father in heaven:
May your holy name be honored;
your Kingdom come;
your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today the food we need.
Forgive us the wrongs we have done,
as we forgive the wrongs that others have done to us.
Keep us from yielding to temptation and deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen

Daily Prayer Request – Tuesday, July 11, 2017

Thank God for the Privilege of being part of this church. Yes we have struggles. Yes we have difficulties. Yes we have disappointments. But we also have so much to praise God for. As you enter into a time with God on behalf of Hanover Missionary Church, bring to mind at least two things you have reason to be thankful for.

He Is Leading Me – Sermon Video

Psalm 23 New International Version (NIV)

A psalm of David.

1
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a] I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
