Today, November 26, has been set apart by the EFC and the Canadian Council of Christian Charities to pray for the successful resolution of the Trinity Western University (TWU) case, which will be heard in the Supreme Court of Canada on November 30 and December 1. Because of the broad potential implications of this case, it is also a day to pray for the future of religious freedom in Canada. PRAYER REQUESTS

Please pray for our Junior Youth and their leaders as they wrap up their weekend at JR Pitch. Pray that it was a rich time of building connections, and that seeds that were planted during their time would take root as they come back into their schools and workplaces.

Please continue to pray for those among our congregation facing health concerns.

Please continue to remember the Pastoral Search Team in your prayers. Pray for wisdom and discernment as they make important decisions regarding the future of HMC.

Please pray for Pastor Lyndsay who is flying home to the UK to spend some time with her parents. Please pray for their health, and that Lyndsay’s presence would bring them a sense of peace. And pray that Lyndsay would find opportunity for rest and refreshment while away.

There is a list of prayer requests specific to the needs of HMC available on our website, or by speaking with Karen Schmalz or Brian Austin. Alternatively, if you’d like to receive daily prayer reminders delivered to your email, you can sign up at eepurl.com/cM9ZVj
