Bulletin – January 13, 2019

Ladies, are you looking to get connected with a G2G group? Karen Schmalz was to begin a new study on Wednesday, January 9 at 1 p.m. in the upper room, but the weather prevented this from happening. If you’re still interested in taking a journey through Lysa TerKeurst’s ‘Finding I Am’, set your Wednesday afternoons aside and come out at 1 p.m. on January 16 for the first session.

Let’s set the sweets aside for our January Building Connections. Stick around after the service on January 20 and indulge in some healthy snacks. Bring along some veggies or fruit to share and enjoy sometime getting to know one another.

Floor Hockey Drop In. If you’re in Junior Youth or younger, you’re invited to a Saturday morning of floor hockey fun in our gym. Come out on January 26 from 9-11 a.m.

Snow Camp is coming! If you’re in Junior or Senior Youth, sign up for this weekend event happening February 8-10. Registration forms are available outside the main office and must be returned with payment by February 4.

Congratulations to Jenna & Jesse Kroes who welcomed a new daughter, Nora Lynn, on Wednesday, January 9.

We are extending the 5:14 prayer focus for every Monday in 2019. Set your alarms to 5:14 a.m. or p.m. each Monday and let’s prayer together for our church, our vision, and our leadership.

Warming Centre. HMC will be opening its doors as a warming centre on Thursdays from noon – 2 p.m., offering a warm space and hot soup and drinks for those in need. Please pray for this ministry as it launches this week.

Join the HMC Bible Book Club! In an effort to encourage daily interaction with the scriptures we’re started a Facebook group where we hope you will go to find motivation to do daily devotions, as well as opportunity to contribute to discussions about what you’re currently reading, and what has challenged you. Pastor Dave has committed to post to this group at least once a week. Please consider joining the discussion! If you need a little help getting started, some guides are available in the foyer that will direct your reading.

We are looking to add more communion servers to our team! If you’re willing to volunteer, please sign up for the weeks you’re available at the podium in the foyer.

Please take some time to thoughtfully fill out the surveys that were handed out last week. If you missed them, pick some up at the Welcome Centre. Drop completed surveys in the bin at the Welcome Centre. You may also complete them online. hanovermissionary.com/communitysurvey/ and hanovermissionary.com/discipleshipsurvey
