Pray for the spiritual temperament of HMC. Pray for God to revive us and refine us so that we burn hot for our heavenly Father. Pray that we may never be accused of being lukewarm. Ask God to give us singleness of heart and open minds to understand His Word so that our hearts are on fire for our great God.
Pray for HMC in the world. Pray that we would be known as distinct from the world in love and holiness, even as we engage outsiders. Pray that many among us would share the gospel this week—and see people come to know Christ! Pray that if persecution comes, we would remember to love, not curse, and to pray for our enemies.
Pray for our Behind-the-Scenes Workers. Thank God for every preschool and nursery worker/coffee/facilities/mission planning/bylaw/policy/finance/discernment/personnel/team member/custodian etc. devoted to serve. Pray that God would bless them for their obedience and generosity and keep them in an attitude of humility.
Pray for Men in Action. Pray that this ministry will build our men in their faith. Pray that they will be in right relationship with God and each other. Pray for men to love their wives as Christ loves the church, and to instruct their children with patience. Pray that they would hold each other accountable and support and encourage each other.
We continue to raise money to pay for our roof repair. As of Friday, June 16, we have raised a total of $50,190.62 towards our ultimate goal of $115,000. Thank you for your ongoing generosity towards this need.

Our annual HMC Budget Meeting is this Thursday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m. We are aiming for the meeting to end by 8:00—8:30 p.m. at the latest. Members and regular attendees are encouraged to attend. Before Thursday, please think about who should be nominated for the Nomination Committee. Information about this role is available in the foyer. If you have questions you would like answered in the Ministry Council report, please get those to Ron DeVisser ASAP.
The Men in Action invite you to join in on a Family Canoe Trip on Sunday, June 25 following the service. There will be two options: 1 is a two hour trip and 2 is a four hour trip – both ending up at Bill Kranenburg’s camp for a BBQ supper. Children, grandchildren, and wives are welcome to participate. See the sign up in the foyer.
Blue Jay’s Once again, a bus will be going to Toronto to take in a game this summer. Mark your calendars for July 29. The $50 tickets are available in the foyer on a first come, first served basis.
Summer Slam VBS ‘Love Your Neighbour’ will be August 21-25 from 9 a.m. to noon for children in SK-grade 6. Forms are now available in the foyer!
If you’re thinking about being a volunteer on the Summer Slam VBS team this year, let Pastor Amos or Marie know and plan to come for a brief meeting after the service on June 25.

Mom’s and Tot’s is looking for someone without small children to take on a leadership role within the ministry: to help organize childcare and coordinate events/ideas (i.e. leading craft days, cooking days, arranging a Bible study), while still including and incorporating the ideas and needs of the mother’s who attend.
We are looking for volunteers to join our tech crew! If you’d be willing to sit in the sound booth once a month and run the computer (song, announcement, and sermon slides) please let the church office know.
Please pray for Rob Fletcher, (son of Chuck & Carol, father of Tiffany) who is in the hospital with a tumour on his spine. Please pray for the doctors as they work to minimize his pain, and for the family as they navigate this time.
Please continue to remember the Pastoral Search Team in your prayers. Pray for wisdom and discernment as they make important decisions regarding the future of HMC.

MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH: Kevin and Michelle Weppler serving with Greater Europe Mission (GEM) in Southern Romania.
Please pray for three of the local girls who were just baptized, that they would stay strong in their faith. Please pray for GEM interns that are with Kevin and Michelle, that they would find their spot to serve HIM.

Pray for our Seniors. Thank God for every pray hair attained by righteous living. Pray that they be willing and Godly mentors, so that all can be blessed by their Christian example and ability to train us. Help us be humbly submissive as we benefit from their wisdom and understanding. Pray that they receive the strength and power God promised to the weary and weak. Pray that they will put their hope in the Lord and be renewed in the process.
Pray for our Lead Pastor Search Team, that their search process and decision making would be Spirit led as they search for our new lead pastor. Pray that each member of the team would be gifted with Godly wisdom and discernment. Pray that they be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit guiding them to the pastor God has chosen for us.
Pray for our finances, that giving would be faithful, as well as joyful, consistent, and sacrificial, and that our monthly needs be met. Pray that the Holy Spirit would keep reminding us of God’s promise to throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out blessing on all who bring the whole tithe into His house.
