Pray for our G2G Groups. Pray for new groups to form and for the facilitators and hosts of each group. Pray that the groups would be healthy; that they would be a safe and welcoming place to share the faith journey; that good study and growth would happen; that members would be applying Scripture to their everyday life and that they would be encouraged to share their faith with others, actively engaged in reaching out.

WORDS OF THANKS

OTHER THINGS OF NOTE
After two years of serving on the R.I.S.E. committee and journeying with the Nassar’s as they’ve settled into their new lives in Canada, the committee members have come to end of their obligation to the family. While many of them have built personal relationships with the family and will maintain those, the official connection to the resettlement ministry of HMC is over. Thank you to each team member for your tireless dedication to the family, and for being the light of Jesus in their lives.
Deposits for the April 13-14 Couples Retreat at Horseshoe Resort are due today! Please connect with Chris & Heather Winkels or Jason & Angie Bechtel.
Please remember to let the church office know when you are planning to use the building for any meetings or gathering.
Daily Prayer Request – Friday, March 9, 2018
Pray for team unity on our staff and Ministry Council as we adjust to new leadership, new vision, and a new mix of personalities. We are thankful for the unity that is already happening, but seek a deeper level of it as we follow God’s mission together. Pray for all the meetings that happen throughout the week, that they would bring unity as we seek to follow God together and know His will.
Daily Prayer Request – Thursday, March 8, 2018
Pray for our U18 Ministries. Pray that God would rise up an increased harvest of people willing to serve and relate. Pray for teens and kids who are struggling or in crisis and are in need of Jesus. Pray for the leadership of these ministries, that a balance can be found between programs and disciple-making, especially when it comes to families.
Behold the King – Sermon Video
Daily Prayer Request – March 7, 2018
Pray for the Sunday morning messages, that they would be Biblically grounded, challenging, and would help us grow as disciples. And pray for our Sunday morning worship teams, that they would seek to lead our congregation in authentic, spirit-inspired and driven worship that comes from the heart. And that they would lead us into the presence of God.
Daily Prayer Request – Tuesday, March 6, 2018
Pray for our office staff. They are front and centre when people come into the church with special needs, or when any of us are upset about something church related. Pray for a gentle spirit when people complain to them about issues they cannot control. Pray for a spirit of unity between them and our Pastors, Ministry Council, and other ministries of our church
Daily Prayer Request – Monday, March 5, 2018
Pray for our custodians. We have a big building with many activities happening on a regular basis. Much of what Marianne and Emily do is invisible—until the day it is not done. Pray for them. Thank them. Encourage them. Lend a hand once in a while.
