Reverend Mark Thornton
Lead Pastor
Mark was born in Toronto, but didn’t live there very long. When Mark was young, his father became a pastor, and their family served in churches in Toronto, Minden, Niagara Falls, and Fort Erie. Mark felt a call to serve the Lord while in his teens, and chose to study at Emmanuel Bible College to prepare for that calling.
Mark met his wife, Ruth Anne, while they were both studying at EBC; they have been married since 1991. Mark and Ruth Anne have been blessed to serve in church ministry in Stevensville and Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, as well as in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania They also both served in roles at Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener.
Mark and Ruth Anne have two grown children, both of whom are married; they also have one grandson. In addition to spending time with their family whenever possible, Mark and Ruth Anne enjoy music, movies and hanging out at the beach. In his free time, Mark also enjoys music and reading, and has a love for chicken wings and all things Star Trek.

Reverend Lyndsay McGregor
Pastor of Congregational Care
Lyndsay grew up in South Africa but now calls Canada home. She loves to read and volunteers with the local St. John Ambulance. She loves all things sweet: cookies, chocolate, candy, children. Lyndsay believes that french fries and onion rings are vegetables and that candy is one of the recognized food groups of the Canada Food Guide and she will not be convinced otherwise.

Cory Bezeau
Bookkeeper
Born in Edmonton, Alberta and raised in Clare County, Nova Scotia, Cory is the older of two kids produced from the union of a rough-around-the-edges boilermaker from New Brunswick and a care-free switchboard operator from the prairies.
Cory is married to Marie, a person of great inner beauty and strength all wrapped up in gorgeousness. They have three children, Tristan, Joshua, and Emma. Tristan is the oldest and loves animals. Joshua loves being different and going against the flow which Cory and Marie encourage. When Cory and Marie decided to stop at two, God blessed them with Emma. As the only girl with two older and protective brothers, Emma learned to speak early and has not stopped since. They all live in a quaint two-story house in Hanover with two lazy cats, Tiberius and Ichigo.
When Cory does not have his nose buried in a spreadsheet, he can be found pursuing his greatest hobby, football—or as it’s called in Canada, soccer. Cory is an avid Toronto FC supported, is involved in minor soccer in Hanover, and can be found filling his free time with pursuits of the geek kind, like video games, fantasy novels, anime (Japanese cartoons) and board games with friends and family.
