GENERATIONS FOLLOWING JESUS TOGETHER
We are a family for all ages, learning what it means to follow Jesus, and doing so in the context of a family of families. This means that:
- We are to be a church family of generations where all ages can be valued, feel they can contribute, find identity, and where there will be opportunities for the generations to gather as part of the rhythms of church life.
- We are to be a disciple-making movement. We want to be a church family who are becoming disciples of Jesus, who then reproduce more disciples of Jesus who also reproduce more disciples.
- We believe that together we find belonging, we grow deeper in our faith, we find out how we are gifted, we develop relationships, we can reach our full God-given potential, and we can more effectively share Jesus.
MISSION STATEMENT
HMC exists to be joyfully used of God, as an instrument for spiritual grounding and growth, that God may be glorified.
CORE VALUES
The core values are birthed in our articles of faith and our understanding is directed by the articles of faith. At our core is the exhortation to pursue three things that endure as proclaimed in 1 Corinthians 13:13
Being grounded in faith, growing in love and glorifying Jesus our hope.
We are people once totally lost but continuously drawn by the Holy Spirit in faith, hope and love in our Lord Jesus who has prepared a way back to the Father.
