HMC EVENTS

Join us on tonight at 6:00 for another evening of prayer as we focus on the various committees within our church.

There will be a Ladies Social on Wednesday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the upper room. Join in for a devotion and social time, followed by some crafting with Angie Bechtel as she leads the designing of some favours to hand out on Mother’s Day.

The Men in Action meet every Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. and would welcome anyone looking to join in as they cover a variety of topics relevant to men of all ages. A Men’s Breakfast and Work Bee is scheduled for Saturday, April 21. Let Mark Webb know if you plan on meeting with them at 8:00 a.m. at Cravings Restaurant. Following the meal, those who are able will return to the church to help with some outdoor spring cleanup.

Are you married, under the age of 40, and looking for a small group? There is an ongoing G2G group that would be pleased to welcome you in! Come out to a potluck dinner on Sunday, April 29 at 5:30 p.m. If you’d like to attend or want more information, contact Bill & Carolyn Pearson at bncpearson@gmail.com

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please pray for those in our congregation facing various health concerns. Pray for their families and the medical professionals that are providing care.

Please pray for our pastors who will be attending the EMCC Regional Gathering next weekend. Pray that it would be a rich time of relationship building as they reconnect with other pastors and leaders in our denomination.

PLEASE NOTE

This year’s HIKE FOR HOSPICE is being held on Sunday, May 6, starting at the Hanover Park at 1:00 p.m. Chapman House has been open for almost a year at full capacity, and just last week, permission has been given to make plans for a second site in south Grey/Bruce. This is wonderful news for our area. Now more than ever, funds need to be raised for this worthy cause. Lend your support by sponsoring someone participating in the hike. Talk to Evelyn Howe, Brenda Kaufman, or Lyndsay McGregor to donate.
