HMC EVENTS

Join in and pray for HMC on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Come to the front of the sanctuary and lift up the needs of our HMC community.

Interested in being baptized at our Easter service? Contact the church office. We will be running a Baptism class on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. for anyone wanting to take this important step.

Next Sunday is Building Connections! Plan to bring something to share for a PLATTER POTLUCK (crackers & cheese, finger sandwiches, pickles, etc.) and stay after the service for a time of getting to know one another over snacks.

The Wednesday ladies G2G group will be kicking off a new study, Church of the Small Things on Wednesday, March 21 at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. Connect with Karen Schmalz for more information.

Ladies, please come to the upper room on Wednesday, March 21 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for some social time, after which Holly DeVisser, kinesiologist with the Brockton Family Health Team, will share about active living and maintaining good health. She will demonstrate some easy movements to keep your joints moving and will answer your questions. Bring a friend!

Meet Pastor Lyndsay in the overflow on Wednesday nights from 7-8 through the month of March as she help you focus on the discipline of personal, reflective prayer.

Reflective Easter Prayer Stations will be set up for you to take some personal time to reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus on Tuesday March 27 and Wednesday, March 28. These stations will be open during regular office hours (9-4) and both evenings from 6:30-8:00.

Easter Breakfast The Missions Planning Team and Men in Action are partnering to host a breakfast on April 1 to raise funds for the missionaries we support. More info to come.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please uphold Rick Pake in prayer as he faces health concerns. Also pray for Pam and family as they journey together.

WORDS OF THANKS

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Lenten Service Luncheon on Wednesday, March 7. From bakers to cleanup crew, your help was invaluable!

OTHER THINGS OF NOTE

After two years of serving on the R.I.S.E. committee and journeying with the Nassar’s as they’ve settled into their new lives in Canada, the committee members have come to end of their obligation to the family. While many of them have built personal relationships with the family and will maintain those, the official connection to the resettlement ministry of HMC is over. Thank you to each team member for your tireless dedication to the family, and for being the light of Jesus in their lives.

Deposits for the April 13-14 Couples Retreat at Horseshoe Resort are due today! Please connect with Chris & Heather Winkels or Jason & Angie Bechtel.

Please remember to let the church office know when you are planning to use the building for any meetings or gathering.
