All ladies are invited to a Ladies Social “High Tea” to welcome Shannon Hildebrandt on Wednesday, January 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Upper Room. We will enjoy a social time and some games to get to know each other better. Please bring your own tea cup, a friend, and a fun “high tea” snack to share. Also consider dressing for the occasion. Use your imagination!

The Men in Action G2G group is beginning a 14 week video series called Love and Respect, a great study for any man looking to improve his marriage (or a single man who hopes to make a great husband one day). Join them on Thursday nights at 7:00 in the Upper Room for a half hour video followed by discussion.

A Men in Action Work Bee/Breakfast will be on Saturday, January 27 in Auditorium A/B. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. For those who are able and willing to come at 7:30 a.m. there will be a variety of odd jobs to tackle around the facility. Please sign up in the foyer.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please continue to pray for Pastor Lyndsay. She will be remaining in the UK until at least the end of January to be with her mother after the passing of her father. Please pray that she would find rest and peace as she grieves with and cares for her family.

Our Condolences to the Eastman family on the passing of Virigina’s mother, Jane Oke on Wednesday, January 17. Please pray for the family as they grieve.

OPPORTUNITIES

Missions Opportunity Have you ever considered joining a volunteer missions team? Sue McDougall is taking a team to Peru, April 27-May 7, 2018. See the poster by the missions board in the foyer or talk to Sue for more details.

ARE YOU TECH SAVVY or WILLING TO LEARN? We find ourselves in desperate need of more volunteers in our sound booth. We are looking for people willing to learn the sound board and/or the computer (running announcement and worship slides). Training will be available. Please contact the church office if this is an area you can see yourself serving in.
